Preface

Nuclear Safety Culture Training Courses organized by ECS

For the ENGIE Group, nuclear safety at their nuclear power plants is of utmost importance. All internal and external employees are therefore expected to regard safety as a matter of honour and a personal commitment.

ECS was put in charge by ENGIE Electrabel to provide the Nuclear Safety Culture training to all employees required to enter the Doel or Tihange sites.

Basic training

Basic training should be followed by all new employees who come to perform work at the nuclear site for the first time.

Refresh training

The refresh training should be followed by the employees who are already active at the nuclear site and need a renewal of their certificate.

Subventions

ECS is recognized by several subvention organizations to which you can appeal to have (part of) the training cost reimbursed

Location

The NSC training for Doel will be provided by ECS in Schoten (theory + practice).

The NSC training for Tihange will be provided by ECS in Villers-le-Bouillet or in Suarlée (theory) and Tihange (practice).

When should the new modules be followed?

The 5 new training modules are available in our training calendar and should be followed from 01/04/22.

As of 01/04/22, the different training modules for Nuclear and Technical Zone can already be followed. From 2023 also the Site training will become available.
